About me

And welcome to my website!

I'm Amy, and as you can probably guess, I have a passion for calligraphy, stationery and art. I enjoy spending my time creating beauty with ink and a nib, and exploring my love for this by challenging myself with new scripts, flourishes, and ways of incorporating different papers and mediums into my work. 

When I'm not busy with a pen and paintbrush I can be found baking, out at the pub with friends and family, or exploring beautiful Scotland with my boyfriend Grant and our gorgeous Labrador pup, Poppy.

While I now live in Edinburgh, I was born and raised in Grimsby; a historic fishing town on the East coast of England. Although the magic and mystery of Edinburgh's sandstone streets and our wee apartment in an old kilt factory are normally enough for any artist to be captivated and inspired, I'm forever up and down from Edinburgh to go back home and visit my family. It's always nice to go back to your roots; it's where my love for art and lettering was first kindled.
